This is one of two Australian native plants in a series to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra.

Common-name: Wee Jasper Spider

  
  Small  to medium sized shrub to 1.5m high with smooth oblong leaves to 1.5cm long. 
  Red  and cream flowers are borne in terminal clusters in spring and summer. 
  Endemic  to restricted area; only discovered in 1980. 
  Distribution: NSW (Wee Jasper  area).
  Propagation: From cuttings.
  Cultivation: Frost-hardy.
  Conservation  Status: Endangered.
